We have always wanted to come here when in the area but it's always super crowded but walk up and drive thru. It was early on a weekday when we visited so we thought we'd walk up but it was closed and they were doing drive up only. We grabbed our car and headed to the line because it wasn't too long. We were in line for about 3-5 mins. The workers come and take your order, while you're moving through the line, they bring your ice cream and then take your payment! Ice cream was pretty good, it's like a soft serve. Would have liked if they had more flavors but it's definitely a cool spot on hot days

There are 5 flavors on the main menu and a special flavor below. The special flavor was coconut. Oh man, it is good and creamy. The flavors are prefect. We all got mixed flavors, pineapple with strawberry, pineapple with coconut, and strawberry with chocolate. All the flavors were well balanced together. Pineapple with strawberry being sweet and tangy. Strawberry mixed chocolate tastes like chocolate covered strawberry. Coconut with pineapple tastes like a refreshing pina colada. The ice creams were also extremely creamy and smooth. The staffs have a great memory with our orders and also quick and friendly. There aren't any seatings available, so we walked and enjoy our ice cream under the hot sun and then jumped into the car.

We love ice creams here. Favorite flavor is pineapple, but recently tried coconut which is good as well. This place if always crowded but management is really good.

My friend and I were walking around the area and stumbled upon this ice cream shop that we've heard so much about. It was such a hot day, so perfect day for a soft serve. We walked up and ordered, instead of going through the drive though. They had plenty of flavors, but we ordered a vanilla and chocolate mix. Everyone that was working here was so pleasant and sweet. The line goes fast. You order and wait on the side and they will walk up and give you what you ordered. It was delicious. Hands down, the best soft serve I've had!

Over the years I've seen so many businesses come and go here in downtown Pleasanton. Meadowlark Dairy has remained a thriving business thanks to the drive-thru and walk-up soft serve ice cream service. Today was a beautiful and warm sunny Saturday and I was in the mood for a root beer slushy. I had my dog Lola with me and asked for a pup cup for her. We received our delicious treats and headed over to the park next to the dairy and found a shady spot to enjoy our treat. If you are passing through Pleasanton, it's definitely worth your while to make a pit stop at the dairy and experience this place. There was a couple next to me at the park who were on the their first date and enjoy a soft serve ice cream together as they got to know one another. Ice cream brings love!

OMG this has to be the best ice cream I've had out here - it's absolutely delicious. so so so creamy! I had the vanilla strawberry swirl & the flavors complemented each other so well. The line was a bit long but I was so impressed with how quickly it moved and how efficient they are. Can't wait to come by and try a new flavor!

They changed the car line. Can only come from one line instead of 2z No big deal had to go around the block. We usual, pretty fast service as they are well staffed. Consistent soft serve. Just wish they IUL's offer more flavors than they do

This place has been on my list forever and I finally visited recently. From the moment I took the first bite of their soft serve, I understood why it is so popular. My favorite flavor is the pineapple, which is super refreshing and creamy - it has the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, making it so delightful especially on a hot day. What makes it better is that their soft serve is packed to perfection, with no hollow spots inside. It's filled entirely from the sugar cone upwards - great value for the price. This place definitely lives up to it's reputation and I can't wait to come back again and again.

Anytime passing by Pleasanton, this stop is a must! Nor far off HWY 680 at all! All the staff members are pleasant & helpful. I love the old fashion drive thru. But you can walk up as well! Their ice cream & dairy free options are always delicious The dairy is cute! You can get more than frozen treats, I just never have. Indulge! It's quite a fun experience to me & hopefully to you as well! Enjoy!

Don't let the long line deter you from trying this famous soft serve place in Pleasanton! I heard about this place a couple years back from a friend who interned in the area during the summer but didn't get a chance to try it back then. Finally, I found myself in the area and knew I had to try it out. During the day, it seemed to be walk up only, no drive-thru. During the night, they open up their drive-thru, so you might find a traffic jam in neighboring streets. I recommend just finding street parking (which there is plenty) and walking up to order. Although long, the line goes by pretty fast. They are efficient here! I got a small chocolate swirl, which they mixed with vanilla. For $3, the amount of soft serve I got was a steal! My partner got a medium for $3.50 and a large is $4. The soft serve was creamy and delicious. They also have sorbet options as lactose free options as well as slushees. Next time I am in Pleasanton, I'll definitely be making another stop here!
